Before starting, you can choose any of the several modes available in Gang Beasts and then decide whether you want to create a private game, for you and your friends, or join one of the random matches that are in abundance here. Note though that, if you want to have a team match, it will probably turn out to be quite hard to coordinate your actions with people you don’t know and haven’t played with before, so it’s better to form a stable team and improve your joint work with the same people over and over again. Concerning team modes, it can be either team vs. team or team vs. mobs, each being interesting in its own way.

Once you make a choice, you will have to wait in the lobby until the needed number of players are gathered. The game supports up to eight participants, so it won’t be boring! There are plenty of maps to make the process of fighting more diverse and fascinating – you will try to push your opponents off the top of a moving truck, throw them under the train that is passing through the subway and even knock them out with a soccer ball. The ultimate goal is to make sure as many of your opponents as possible end up outside the map – then they will fall out of the game. Special death zones will do as well – there are more than enough of them on each location.

Learn your moves and hone your tactics!

Gang Beasts seems to be not a very rich game in terms of move set. However, you will be surprised at the number of combinations that can be uncovered if you combine these moves right. You can come up with your own complex tactics to deal with your opponents on different maps (because they also have interactive settings that you can use to your advantage). And it’s surely fun to watch all these pixel men move, jump, tumble and perform all kinds of wild acrobatics in that hilarious ragdoll manner that is aways enjoyable to observe!
